Year 6 Exchange Visits (1 April 2015 - 31 March 2016)

	June 2015 Sophie Tran Travelled to the 49th CMOS Congress & 13th AMS Conference on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography to give a presentation on "Trace gas measurements at two Arctic sites using infrared emission spectroscopy: Filling the polar night knowledge gap"
	June 2015 Jeff Langille Attended the Canadian Association of Physicists  (CAP) Congress at the University of Alberta where he presented an oral talk on "Imaging mesospheric winds with the Michelson Interferometer for Airglow Dynamics Imaging (MIADI)."
	June 2015 Jeff VanKerkhove Visited the Swiss Federal Office for Meteorology and Climatology (Meteoswiss) in Zurich, Switzerland to tour some of the instruments at the station, including the ozone microwave radiometer and water vapor Raman lidar, providing a good platform for comparing the capabilities of this system to the Purple Crow Lidar.
	April  2015 Xiaoyi Zhao Attended the 2015 European Geoscience Untion (EGU) General Assembly in Vienna, Austria, to present his work on the Stratosphere-troposphere exchange (STE) study.

April  2015 Ghazal Farhani Visited the Swiss Federal Office for Meteorology and Climatology (Meteoswiss) in Zurich, Switzerland.

	December 2014 Jai Chaubey Attended the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in San Francisco, USA to present two posters: "Aerosols and Precipitation Retreivals over Eureka by Remote Sensing: Validation of Space Based Profiling Retreivals" and "Identifications of absorbing Organic (Brown Carbon) aerosols through Sun Photometry: results from AEROCAN/ AERONET locations in High Arctic and Urban Locations."
	December 2014 Uma Das Attended the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in San Francisco, USA to present a poster, "Aliasing Effects in the Diagnosis of Tides and Planetary Waves in Satellite Data."
	June 2014 Liviu Ivanescu Attended the SPIE Astronomical Telescopes + Instrumentation Conference in 2014 in Montreal, Quebec and presented a session called "Challenges in operating an Arctic telescope."
	June 2014 Samuel Kristoffersen Attended the 2014 CEDAR Workshop at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, to learn more about active and remote sensing in the MLT (mesosphere lower thermosphere) and about gravity wave dynamics and to present a poster on "Wind and TemperatureObservations at ERWIN II."
	May 2014 Melanie Wright Attended the MST14/iMST1 Workshop on the Scientific and Technical Aspects of MST Radar in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil,  to present a talk on "Tropospheric gravity waves in the Arctic and non-Arctic atmosphere and relevance to the 'universality' of the universal spectrum."

	May 2014 Jonathan Franklin Attended the InfraRed Working Group (IRWG) / Total Carbon Column Observing Network (TCCON) meeting in Bad Sulza, Germany, to present two posters on "Solar tracker development in support of ground-based solar absorption spectrometry," and "Solar absoprtion spectroscopy at the Dalhousie Atmospheric Observatory ," and a talk on the Dalhousie Atmospheric Observatory.
	May 2014 Ali Jalali The Sixth Network for the Detection of Mesopause Change (NDMC) Meeting in Grainau, Germany to present "Extending and Merging the Purple Crow Lidar Temperature Rayleigh and Vibrational Raman Climatologies "

	December 2012 Joseph Mendonca Visited Geoff Toon at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, USA to discuss Total Carbon Column Observing Network (TCCON) data analysis.
	December 2012 Emily McCullough Attended the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in San Francisco, USA to present her poster titled, "Lidar depolarization measurements of ice-precipitating liquid cloud layers during the 2012 Canadian Arctic ACE Validation Campaign."
	October 2012 Chris Vail Attended the MLTI Waves and Dynamics at Polar Latitudes Workshop in Logan, USA to collaborate and compare analysis techniques of the All Sky Imager with others using similar instruments.
	July 2012 Xiaoyi Zhao Attended the NORS/NDACC UV-VIS Working Group Meeting to give a talk on "MAX-DOAS Measurements in the Canadian High Arctic."  This was followed by the SHIVA - Stratospheric Ozone: Halogen Impacts in a Varying Atmosphere Annual Meeting,with both held at the Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy in Brussels, Belgium.
	July 2012 Auromeet Saha Visited the University of Toronto to collaborate with Professor Kim Strong's research group and Professor Clare Murphy from the University of Wollongong, and to present his talk titled, "Climatology of aerosol optical properties over the High Arctic."
